There are many ways that you or your organisation can be a part of LTCAS. The strength of LTCAS comes from the many individuals and organisations who are part of our work.

Benefits of joining
By joining LTCAS your organisation will become part of the strong independent voice for the two million people who live with long term conditions in Scotland.
Joining LTCAS allows your organisation to:
- Receive e-bulletins, briefings and alerts
- Share skills, ideas and good practice throughout an extensive network of third sector, public and private partners
- Promote your own work, services and campaigns
- Help inform national policy and be part of LTCAS’ campaigns work
- Access reduced rates for meeting rooms, training and events
The benefits of joining LTCAS are the same for associates as they are for members, with the exception of voting rights. Associates may attend the AGM as observers.
Membership Fees
Membership is open to voluntary organisations that work to meet the needs of people with long term conditions.
Associate membership is open to all groups (public, private and voluntary) and individuals that support the work of LTCAS.
Membership fees are set on a sliding scale according to organisations’ income (see rates below). Please see the guidelines for membership classification for help deciding what size your organisation is here.
Membership rates:
- Large organisations (income £500,000 or over) - £160 per annum
- Medium organisations (income from £50,000 - £499,000) - £65 per annum
- Small organisations (income below £50,000) – £20 per annum
There are three kinds of associate membership of LTCAS:
- Non-Profit Associate (non-profit organisations, including statutory authorities, professional associations and branches of national voluntary organisations that are already members) - same scale as membership
- Corporate Associate (corporate organisations wishing to show support to LTCAS) - £500 per annum

Individual Supporter - £25 per annum standard (basic level of support), £50 per annum supporting (for those who wish to give extra financial support).
