LTCAS is an independent Scottish Charity funded by a grant from the Scottish Government.
The organisation is governed by a Board of non-executive directors elected from our membership of long term conditions voluntary organisations and supported by three directors, who are co-opted for their specific skills. The Board leads the development and strategic direction of the organisation.
LTCAS is led by its members - a growing community of over 200 bodies working hard to make the lives of people with long term conditions better.
More than three quarters of our member organisations are voluntary groups that directly support or represent people living with long term conditions.
Associate membership is open to any organisation - public, private or voluntary - that supports the work we do and this includes a number of health boards and professional bodies.
