Due to severe weather conditions, LTCAS will be closing at 12 noon today (8 December 2011).
We will be open tomorrow as usual and hope to see you at our Christmas networking event .
UK Government maintains mobility allowance for people in residential care
After more than a year of hard work, meeting MPs, writing thousands of letters to the Minister, talking to the press and supporting the Hardest Hit protests, you've done it! The mobility component of Disability Living Allowance (and the benefit that will replace it, Personal Independence Payment) will not be removed from people in residential care!

Keeping Fit with a Chronic Condition (KICC) offers local classes in Yoga, Pilates, Hydrotherapy and meditation in East and Midlothian. KICC’s classes are adapted for people living with long term conditions and match participants wanting to retain mobility and capacity with a network of tutors who have recognised this work stream as satisfying and profitable.
