Patient Opinion is a not-for-profit social enterprise, which uses the power of the web to carry the voices of patients and carers into the heart of health services. Patient Opinion aims to make it quick, easy and safe for patients and carers to give feedback about their health care, and for health service providers to respond to and make use of feedback for service improvement.
Voices Scotland and Self Management Champions
For seven years the Voices Scotland programme, delivered by Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland (CHSS), has built a national network of over 800 people affected by chest, heart and stroke conditions to help them have their say. Through Hearty Voices Scotland, Chest Voices and Stroke Voices workshops and ongoing support, patients and carers have been provided with the knowledge, skills and confidence to work with the NHS to help plan new and better services. Now the Voices Scotland team have been invited by the Scottish Governement to develop a resource to train Self Management Champions.
